About Solarfly Photography

Solarfly Photography is the concept of Sam Bondarenko, a inspiring young photographer who started taking pictures as a hobby and is now taking the steps to become a full time professional photographer. He has taken pictures of bodybuilders at competitions, family studio shots, events, fashion and music gigs, however he is ever expanding his portfolio.

Biography

• 1987 to 2005 - In 1987 Sam was born and always had an interest in photography, taking pictures with normal film cameras and going on to purchase a film slr camera, the seed has been planted. He took a job working on a photo lab every Saturday and most of his summer holidays, while maintaining his hobby.
• 2006 to 2009 - Sam purchased his first semi professional digital slr in early 2006 and continued his hobby, primarily as an event photographer.
• 2010 to 2011 - He maintained an interest in photography but full time work with Muscle Fury took over allot of his spare time and he only took photographs of a couple of bodybuilding shows.
• 2011 - October 2011 Sam bought his first professional lens and took pictures of the UKBFF British Championships while still working for Muscle Fury. November 2011 he bought his second professional lens and started learning studio photography, while deciding that photography was what he wanted to do.
• 2012 - January - He has continued to expand his knowledge working closely with a professional photographer and taking on new work in the fashion industry. In February he had some photos published in the Daily Mail online.
